About
River Valley Christian Academy is built on the passion of educating our children in all areas of education and life, especially in character and integrity. We all are prior educators who want to give back more to the students and family within our communities. We believe in all avenues of learning: hands on, visual, auditory, and with support if needed. We believe in project and trip based learning too. Finding the ways to apply what we are learning to our daily lives. Its believed our area needs another option for education other then homeschool or public school. We stand behind core Christian Values and plan to hold up to moral values and standards in and out of the classroom.

FAITH (Romans 12:2)
The life and teachings of Jesus Christ is the bedrock of our educational experiences. A biblical worldview informs how we build relationships, community and how we pursue academics, athletics, arts, activities and spiritual growth.
EDUCATION (Luke 11:9-10, Jeremiah 29:11, Philippians 4:8)
Academic excellence is a byproduct of healthy relationships between students, teachers, and relevant curriculum. We equip students for college and careers by employing the appropriate rigor that encourages discipline and inspires achievement.
RELATIONSHIPS (Matthew 22:37-40, Proverbs 27:17, Galatians 5:22)
Using Christ’s model for how we are to interact with one another, Horizon Christian High School works to promote strong, life-giving relationships.
